I. Call to Order: The meeting began at 9:10 a.m.

II. Old Business

A. Financial status

• Bank balance as of April 10, 2008 $5601.75
• Received partial payment of $3,333 from San Diego County grant for Rail Safety Video

B. NC Business Expo - 35 new TABNC members signed up at Business Expo

III. New Business

A. Community Awareness: Rail Safety Video

• Jack White will be narrator of Rail Safety Video
• Video should be complete by August 2008
• Media blitz with Rail Safety Video, sponsored by Cities or Chambers along Sprinter corridor
• Corporate donation for venue/location for Media blitz

B. Legislature issues

• Ellen Roundtree drafting a letter to the Governor regarding transit funding
• TABNC Board members to sign letter at General meeting
• Need TABNC committee member to attend Carlsbad Chamber Governmental Affairs Committee meetings

C. Transit impact on business: Sprinter accessible companies

• Need corporate sponsorship

D. Tagline/marketing

• Tom Frankum to recruit TABNC members from Sprinter Ambassadors at luncheon on April 12th.

E. SANDAG presentation

• TABNC presentation on agenda for SANDAG Transportation Committee

F. Contacts for speaking engagements
