Notes of the Communications & Membership Committee Meeting

July 8 , 2008 at

Those present: Tom Frankum, Phyllis Hall (NCTD Staff Support), Debbie Gianni (NCTD)

I. Call to Order: Meeting called to order at 9:10 am.

II. Old Business

A.  Website updates-The website updates will be finalized by July 24th with a possible demonstration at the Board General Meeting.

B. Board presentations-Caltrans will give a presentation on projects at the General Meeting.

III. New Business

A. Dump the Pump-Phyllis will send a thank you letter to TABNC members who signed up on "Dump the Pump" event.

B. Volunteer/Membership drive-Tom Frankum to work with Sprinter Ambassadors to lead a TABNC membership drive the first week of school for Palomar and UCSM.

C. TABNC should strive to generate more publicity, letters of support, letters to the editor and commentaries.

IV. Adjurnment: The meeting adjourned at 10:15 am.

V. Next Meeting: October 14, 2008 @ 9:00 am
