For a wealth of reasons ranging from better transportation and less traffic congestion to better jobs, the Transit Alliance for a Better North County will continue to provide a strong voice for smart planning in North County. TABNC strives to keep transit issues in the public eye and build support for them. We need your help to do this. Our activities include:

Public outreach and comment on major transit, transportation and transit-oriented development in North County, including public testimony and media relations

Web site support and educational information on transit issues and how they affect our North County economy and quality of life.

Programs with transit leaders and legislators that inform the community and provide forums for public input.

Our sponsors know public transportation is about much more than just reducing traffic congestion. It also is about producing jobs, stimulating the economy, reducing air pollution, creating smart growth and livable communities. The stake is clear and your membership in a contribution to TABNC will provide a critical resource as we continue our work.
